License Terms

These terms apply to NoteContour distributed by Julian (the developer). By installing or using NoteContour, you agree to them. Mandatory consumer rights in your country are not limited by these terms.

License

A purchase grants one buyer a personal, perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the purchased version of NoteContour on Macs the buyer owns or controls. You may keep a reasonable backup copy. You may not resell, sublicense, publish, or redistribute the paid build, or reverse engineer it except where applicable law expressly permits.

The free demo may be used for one 14-calendar-day evaluation period. It is provided only for evaluation and may use local Keychain timestamps to determine the remaining period.

Apple Notes and system permissions

NoteContour is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple. It requires user-granted Apple Events and Accessibility permissions for its advertised features. You remain responsible for your notes and backups.

Updates and availability

The purchased build remains usable without a NoteContour account or activation server. Maintenance updates may be provided through the original itch.io project at the developer's discretion. New major versions may be sold separately.

Refunds

Purchases are processed by itch.io. Refund requests are handled under itch.io's refund policy, including cases where the product cannot run, cannot be accessed, or materially differs from its description. Contact itch.io support with the purchase information; technical questions can first be sent to support@madebyjulian.com.

Disclaimer and liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, NoteContour is provided “as is” without warranties, and the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss. The developer's total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount paid for NoteContour. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them.
